Pedra Viva

Danielle is an Australian trained Youth worker. Specialising in the drug and alcohol field she has worked in both Austrlaia and the Uk. Danielle has been a part Immanuel Baptist Fellowship for almost 4 years during her time in London.
Danielle works for a Christian Charity group called Pedra Viva, a Christian based Charity in Nottinghamshire, UK. Pedra Viva are dedicated to improving the lives of children across the world, they aim to raise awareness, funds and prayers for projects they support. There are 5 supported projects in Brazil, which work with abused and disadvantaged children and young people.
After being out to Brazil twice, once leading a short term mission trip, Danielle was called to return to Brazil. Danielle will be working in Brazil for two years at a project called Siao.
Project Siao is an orphanage run by local Christians, where committed volunteers care for abandoned children near Brasilia. The children are extremely vulnerable and disadvantaged, many of who live on the streets and environments where drug use and crime are rife. The aim of the organisation is to provide a safe home where children can recover, grow and pursue life opportunities such as education and training, and social and spiritual
IBF are supporting Danielle in this work, with funds, support and prayers.
